Cancellation & Refund Policy
This sample policy explains how cancellations, pauses, and refunds may be handled, subject to the signed proposal.
1. Before work begins
A cancellation request made before production begins may be eligible for a refund less administrative, discovery, or third-party costs, according to the signed proposal.
2. After work begins
Once work has started, deposits or completed milestone payments may be non-refundable because they cover reserved capacity, strategy, design, development, and work already performed.
3. Completed milestones
Work completed up to the cancellation date may be invoiced. Release or use of partially completed deliverables depends on payment and the agreed intellectual-property terms.
4. Project pauses
Projects delayed by missing client content, access, feedback, or approvals may be paused and rescheduled. Restart fees or revised timing may apply if stated in the proposal.
5. Recurring services
Maintenance, marketing, and social-media services should be cancelled according to the notice period in the applicable recurring-service agreement. Third-party spend already committed may not be refundable.
6. Requesting cancellation
Cancellation requests should be sent in writing to adventadoor@gmail.com with the project name and reason.
